http://stores.shop.ebay.com/NaturesHydro Hydroponic Systems Important features needed for a perfect hydroponic grow box system Being an expert of hydroponics, I will discuss what you want to look out for when buying your perfect hydroponic system. If you are looking to buy a grow box, you should get one that will fit your needs. First, you should be aware that hydroponic growing is much faster than traditional gardening. Also, growing plants in hydroponic systems takes much less space than if you were to grow plants in soil. (In case you don’t know, hydroponics only uses water, light, and nutrients; no soil is used.) Basically, your grow box will provide fast growth and use a little amount of space. The plants will grow tall, but they would affect each other horizontally. Here is a list of important aspects when buying a hydroponic system. Height Although you could grow plants in less space, it would be ideal to grow your plants in a vertical hydroponic system. Vertical hydroponic systems allow for about 4.5 feet of growing space. This is ideal for growing. You can grow some types of plants in grow boxes that allow for only 2 feet of growing space, but 4.5 feet is ideal. Width Most grow boxes are about 3 feet wide. There is really no need to worry about the width when buying a grow box. Most manufacturers allow for 3 feet of growing space. Depth Most grow boxes are 1.5 feet deep. Only a few grow boxes allow for 2 feet of depth. Although 1.5 feet of depth is ok, 2 feet is ideal. Type of hydroponic system This really doesn’t matter. There are 5 different types of hydroponics. Either of the 5 types will be ok. Co2 Most hydroponic providers offer a Co2 upgrade. This is very important. It will speed up your growth process by 30% – 50%. Unless you are on a tight budget, always opt in for the Co2 system. Stealth The stealth value is usually important to customers. They want a hydroponic system to look like a piece of furniture. Most grow box systems already look like a piece of furniture, so there is no need to worry about this when buying from most companies. Odor Control Odor control is very important for indoor gardeners. Make sure the hydroponic system you are buying has a charcoal filter. Charcoal filters are used in the military to block nerve gas. They will surely block the odor of your plants. A Strong Outer Shell Make sure the hydroponic supplier provides a strong outer shell. Some hydroponic retailers buy their outer shells from Home Depot. This is not good enough. The outer shell should be made of quality steel. If you are buying a hydroponic system, it is important to buy from a quality retailer. I personally have bought from a company called natureshydro.com. I can vouch for them since every grow box in their line of grow boxes has most of these features.

This is my first attempt at growing cannabis in my closet. the room has an 8 foot celiing with a shelf about 6.5 feet up as you might can see in the video. i ordered hydroponic equipment and as of now, its not in yet.
I ordered rockwool starter cubes, hydroton, 3.75 inch net baskets. will those be big enough to grow a plant to full size? and will my hydrototes? i ordered dry nutriets, bloom and grow along with a ph up/down kit and tester. no EC meter yet though cause i am poor.
i need advice on lighting for this room. i want to have a small scale semi perpetual harvest going. wherein i have a small cloning tote up top on that self and perhaps a mid-range side hydro bubble tote ect and then the 2 large hydro bubble/aero totes down bottom for the big plants.
my goal is to grow enough smoke to keep myself slightly overstocked for personal use and the ability to share generously with friends. the lighting i know is important, and i am learning as i go with it. i know that i need alot more power than what i have.
but which would be perfect for that closet? and if i have a clone station setup up top i might can use the floro’s for them, and maybey a HID light for the big totes down bottom. but which spectum lights? what wattage? metal hallide or hid? which will i be able to make enough room for not to burn the plants with my limited space?
also. i am planning on making 2 bubbleponic/aeroponic systems based on the info i have learned on the net. i am using 2 18 inch bubble sticks per tub each with its own dedicated lines and pumps. 1 water pump and 1 air pump per tub basically. with the water pump i plan to spray a mist over the hanging baskets filled with hydroton 24 hours a day and have the resivior bubbling the 2 stips 24 hours as well.
if this is a good idea please tell me. if its a ty idea, so the same.
i am new and learning and having a blast with it.
thanks for your help. i am on a limited budget, so please keep that in mind. i am pretty mechanically inclined, so if there is a way i can rig it with from wal-mart. tell me.
