They have a pretty good selection, but then, so do lots of other coffee shops. I prefer the smaller shops, where you can tell the seller exactly what you're looking for (i.e. what kind of high); they can make recommendations.
The Bulldog is a big tourist attraction, and they don't spend as much time talking with you.

Too toursity and overpriced. Try some smaller shops and ask the clerk what they think, but always look at and smell what
you are buying. If you don't like what they are offering or the
prices, go elsewhere. Coffeeshops are plentiful in Amsterdam, some better than others. If you find good weed at one you can smoke it at another. Just as long as you buy something to drink most places do not require you to buy their weed. But definately shop around and try more than one place.

I`m not a user – but this is advice from one:
Stay away from the ' bulldog ' and the ' grasshopper ' . These are touristtraps.
There are plenty available, but on sidestreets – not usually on the main streets or squares.
My friend-in-the-know suggests you look for the " Rokerij " – as they are well priced and deliver good quality – as well as serving you a perfect coffee
